Donson provides precision 5-axis grinding capabilities in-house, offering the ability to grind surgical cutting devices such as straight, tapered, step, and ball end reamers, along with the ability to grind complete surgical drills, step drills, and spot face drills.

In addition, we can grind surgical taps, rasp and broaches for all orthopedic procedures.

Donson’s Star NXT CNC 5-axis tool and cutter grinding system provides a large grind zone that provides the ability to run both small and large diameter tools. The machine’s design enables us to decrease lead times while providing more options and the ability to quickly adapt to specific customer application requirements.
